TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Even with hot weather conditions on the track, the UIC track and field program was still able to capture season-best and personal-best performances at the Gibson Invitational, hosted by Indiana State Saturday.

"Today we focused on specific areas of our performances and did our best to compete against strong competition with our small group," said head coach, Paul Zavala. "We are heading towards the competitive portion of our outdoor season and looking forward to showcasing our progress at the MVC Conference Championships."
UP NEXT
The Flames will head down to Champaign, Ill. next weekend to compete at the Gary Wieneke Memorial. The two-day event runs from Friday Apr. 21 to Saturday Apr. 22 and will take place at Demirjian Park.
