CHICAGO – The UIC softball team completed the series sweep against Evansville Sunday afternoon in its second extra innings victory of the series, 7-6.Â
COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH LYNN CURYLOÂ
"I am so excited for the team and how they stuck together and fought, inning after inning after inning," UIC head coach Lynn Curylo said. "It was such a great game back and forth and we ended up coming out on top. There are so many moments that stick out to me but most of all I am just really proud of the fact that they are sticking to the idea that we have to remain focused on the process. The process is what leads to execution, and I feel like in the end that's what got it done and got us our series sweep."Â Â
COMMENT FROM FRESHMAN TESS ALTEVERS HARRISÂ

COMMENT FROM JUNIOR EMMA CROWLEYÂ

Emma Crowley said. "Our offense today we had next woman up and people were there to support each other, and it helped us win today."Â
