CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team, in conjunction with the Iowa baseball program, have mutually agreed to postpone Tuesday night's scheduled game in Iowa City. The Flames and Hawkeyes have agreed to reschedule this contest during the 2024 season.
 
UIC will round out the regular season next weekend, as it hosts Evansville at Curtis Granderson Stadium for a three-game series beginning Thursday. The Flames will look to solidify their place in the 2023 Missouri Valley Baseball Championship on May 23-27, where the top eight teams in the conference will battle it out with a trip to the NCAA Regionals on the line.
