CHICAGO (Jan. 12, 2024) – Friday night's women's basketball game between UIC and Northern Iowa at Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago has been postponed.
UIC is working closely with officials from Northern Iowa and the Missouri Valley Conference on opportunities to reschedule the game later this season. An announcement on the exact date and time of the rescheduled game will be made in the near future.
Tickets issued for Friday night's contest will be valid for the rescheduled game. If ticket holders are unable to attend on the new game date, they should contact the UIC Athletics Ticket Office (312-413-UIC1/
athleticsticketing@UIC.edu) or visit the Credit Union 1 Arena box office to discuss options.
The Flames will be back in action at 1 p.m. (CT) Sunday when they play host to Drake (11-4, 4-0 MVC) at Credit Union 1 Arena. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats at
UICFlames.com.
Sunday's game against Drake will also mark the debut of the Courtside Club at Credit Union 1 Arena. Club members will receive a number of perks including early arena access, unlimited refreshments (including complimentary beer and wine) and a private lounge space with flat-screen televisions and theater-style furniture. This game is the first of three home contests featuring the Courtside Club along with matchups against Illinois State (Jan. 21) and Valparaiso (Feb. 4) later this season.
