Volleyball Drops Saturday Match at Murray State

Flames Fall in Four Sets to Close Two Match Road Trip

MURRAY, Ky. (Oct. 19, 2024) – The UIC volleyball team (14-7, 6-3 MVC) closed out its brief two-match road trip Saturday night, as the Flames took on Murray State (10-8, 5-4 MVC) at Racer Arena.
 
After a back-and-forth first set, the Flames found themselves on the short end of the scoreboard, dropping the first and second set by less than five points. UIC fought back to earn a third set victory, before the Racers re-gained control of the match in the fourth, ultimately racing to a 3-1 victory.
