Men’s Soccer Falls in Final Non-Conference Match Tuesday

Flames Concede Five Second Half Tallies in Road Defeat

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Oct. 22, 2024) – The UIC men's soccer team (6-7, 2-3 MVC) rounded out the non-conference portion of the 2024 schedule Tuesday night, as it traveled to Indiana to take on Notre Dame (6-3-5, 2-2-2 ACC).

Following a largely uneventful opening 45 minutes, the Irish captured control of the match in the second half, netting five goals in the span of 23 minutes. The Flames' offense was unable to keep pace, mustering just two shots on goal in the evening. The Fighting Irish went on to win by a 5-0 final score.
