ST. LOUIS (Nov. 6, 2024) – The Missouri Valley Conference announced the bracket for the 2024 MVC Men's Soccer Championship following the conclusion of regular season play Wednesday, and the UIC men's soccer team (7-9, 3-5 MVC) was named the #6 overall seed.


 
This is the third time the Flames have qualified for Missouri Valley Conference postseason play in men's soccer, earning a berth in all three years they have been members of the MVC dating back to 2022.
 
The 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championships will begin for UIC with a quarterfinals match this Sunday, Nov. 10 against #3 Bowling Green (10-4-2, 4-2-1 MVC). Kick-off from BGSU's Cochrane Soccer Stadium is set for 6 p.m. CT. In their lone match this season, UIC welcomed the Falcons to Flames Field for the first time in series history, and took down BGSU 2-1 behind a Bart Muns (Amsterdam, Netherlands) brace.
