BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Dec. 13, 2024) – Juniors
Cole Tremewan (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and
Harrison Nolan (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield/Kentucky) competed amongst some of the best collegiate divers of the NCAA DI at the USA Diving's 2024 Diving Championship Friday afternoon.
Only competing on the one-meter diving board, Nolan finished in 13
th place with a score of 304.10 points. Finishing with a score of 279.70 points, Tremewan place 24
th in a field of 33 competitors.
"This meet was a great experience for both Cole and Harrison to be able to compete at the highest level in diving," Associate Head Coach/Head Diving Coach
Susan Bromberg said. "We are excited to get back home and begin winter training and prepare for the rest of our season!"
The UIC swimming and diving program opens 2025 with a home dual meet against Eastern Illinois on Friday, Jan. 10 at Flames Natatorium. Events are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. (CT) with admission free to the general public.
