COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH JOVAN PARLIC
"Our guys fought very hard today from the beginning to the end of the match and came away with the victory. The match could have gone either way, but we played a little bit better at the important moments."
MATCH RECAP
- UIC's No. 2 doubles team of Randy Wilson (Miami, Fla./Florida Gulf Coast) and Schwebel and the Flames' No. 3 pair of Elliott Dam (Naperville, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) and Bucan defeated their Montana State counterparts to win the doubles point. UIC's No. 1 doubles pair of Robinson Le Meur (Evreux, France/Sciences Po Bordeaux) and Bottino had a 4-3 lead in their match, but it went unfinished due to the Flames already securing the doubles point.
