CHICAGO (March 26, 2024) – The UIC baseball team (16-7, 2-1 MVC) returned home to Granderson Stadium Tuesday as it hosted Milwaukee (2-19, 1-5 Horizon) in a mid-week contest. On a cold, windy night in Chicago, the Flames continued their hot hitting against the Panthers, running away with a 11-1 victory, and crushing 9 hits.

GAME SUMMARY
- James Harris (Chicago, Ill./Gwendolyn Brooks) helped the Flames get out to an early lead Tuesday night, as his two-RBI single to right field increased his team-leading RBI count to 28 on the year and gave UIC the 2-0 early lead.

- After the Panthers answered with one run in the top of the second, the Flames answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second, plating a run on a passed ball and another on a sacrifice fly from Pambos Nicoloudes (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) to extend their lead to 4-1. Coming into Tuesday's game, the Flames held a 9-4 record when scoring the game's first run this season.
- AJ Taylor (Downers Grove, Ill./College of DuPage) plated his fifth RBI of the season in his 13th start for the Flames, extending the UIC advantage to 5-1 with an RBI single through the left side of the infield.

The Flames added a run on a wild pitch and ended the third inning with a 6-1 lead over Milwaukee.
- UIC continued its hot hitting in the bottom of the fourth inning, plating four runs in the inning highlighted by a three-RBI double from Vidal Colon (Grafton, Wis./Univ. School of Milwaukee).

- Jackson Fisher (Chariton, Iowa/Des Moines Area CC) doubled home the winning run in the bottom of the eighth, as the Flames took the 11-1 win.
