- The Flames won their second all-time Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Championship game Tuesday, as they improved their all-time record to 2-2 in thrilling fashion.
- Kendal Ewell (Calumet City, Ill./Kentucky) set the new single-season home run record for UIC on Tuesday, belting his 21st home run of the season in the bottom of the first inning. Ewell is one RBI shy of tying the single-season record (67) for the Flames as well.
- UIC wins leader Dillon Schueler (Rock Falls, Ill./Sauk Valley CC) is slated to take the mound for the Flames Wednesday against the Racers, as he will be in search of his sixth victory of the season.
