2024 Slate Features Nine Home Matches at Flames Field

CHICAGO (July 16, 2024) – The UIC men's soccer team announced its schedule for the 2024 season on Tuesday. The Flames will play 16 regular season matches and two exhibitions, aiming for another strong showing in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC).

"We are excited for the 2024 season and are looking forward to competing for a championship in one of the top conferences in the country," commented head coach Sean Phillips. "We always look to challenge ourselves in the non-conference, both regionally and nationally, to prepare ourselves to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference, and this year is no different for us."

The 2024 schedule features nine home matches at Flames Field and seven road competitions, promising a balanced and competitive season.

The Flames kick off the season with a home exhibition against Western Illinois on August 10 at 7:00 p.m. Following that, UIC travels to East Lansing for a tough exhibition match against Michigan State on August 16.

·      Aug. 22 vs. DePaul at Flames Field
·      Aug. 29 at Wisconsin
·      Sept. 2 vs. Northwestern at Flames Field
·      Sept. 12 vs. Loyola at Flames Field
·      Sept. 21 vs. Missouri State at Flames Field (MVC Opener)
·      Oct. 22 at Notre Dame
·      Nov. 1 vs. Bradley at Flames Field (Home regular-season finale)
·      Nov. 6 at Western Michigan (Defending MVC Regular Season Champions)

All home matches will be played at Flames Field, with free admission for all fans. A majority of UIC's home contests will also stream live on the ESPN digital family of networks, including ESPN+.
