COACH'S COMMENT
"I think we came out with great intent today," said head coach
David Nikolic. "
Emmy Higgins scored a goal in the first 15 minutes. Our ball movement was strong, and the game plan we implemented carried us through the half. I thought we did well maintaining control of the ball. Early in the second half,
Shelsea Rigby scored her first career goal, but then something changed. This is a game we need to learn from. We'll review and find ways to better position ourselves to close out games when we're up 2-0."
