CHICAGO (Aug. 5, 2024) – The UIC volleyball team will play a challenging 30-match schedule, including 11 contests at home inside Credit Union 1 Arena, during the 2024 season, it was announced Monday afternoon. The Flames are heading into their third season as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, having reached the conference tournament semifinals in each of their first two years in The Valley.

Justin Ingram said. "We are hopeful our past successes will play a pivotal role in attracting even more fans to create a true home court advantage at Credit Union 1 Arena. Mark your 2024 calendar and come help make UIC volleyball the most supported team in The Valley."
UIC will feature one of the more experienced teams in the MVC this season with 13 returning scholar-athletes, led by graduate student middle blocker
Zahria Woodard (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park and River Forest), the Flames' all-time leader in block assists (426) and a 2023 All-MVC First Team selection.

- Aug. 30 vs. Albany (regular season opener at FGCU Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla.)
- Aug. 31 at Florida Gulf Coast (2023 Atlantic Sun Conference Champions)
- Sept. 12 vs. Bowling Green (home opener)
- Sept. 27 at Indiana State (conference play begins)
- Oct. 4 vs. Drake (first MVC home match)
- Oct. 5 vs. Northern Iowa (2024 MVC champions)
- Nov. 16 vs. Indiana State (regular season home finale)
- Nov. 23-26 at MVC Tournament (in Cedar Falls, Iowa)
All UIC home matches are played at
Credit Union 1 Arena (525 S Racine Ave, Chicago IL 60607) and admission is free, with most matches also available to stream on ESPN+.
