LAST TIME OUT
Most recently, UIC fell 3-0 to Milwaukee on Sept. 1 at Engelmann Stadium. The Panthers were strong offensively, scoring three goals while keeping the Flames scoreless. Earlier in the week, UIC lost a closely contested match against Marquette at Valley Fields. Both teams struggled to find the back of the net for most of the game, but in the 87th minute, the Golden Eagles scored to take the lead.

Midfielder Yulexi Diaz (Chicago, Ill./Eric Solorio Academy) was named to the 2024 Marquette Challenge Cup All-Tournament Team following the matches against Marquette and Milwaukee.

SCOUTING DEPAUL
DePaul (0-4-1) is currently on a four-game losing streak. They began the season with a 0-0 tie against Northern Illinois, followed by losses to Illinois (2-1), Loyola (1-0), Purdue (3-0), and Florida Gulf Coast (4-1). Sophomore forward Mya Gardner and junior forward Freya Jupp have scored DePaul's two goals on the season.

The Flames and Blue Demons have faced each other three times, with DePaul winning every match. The most recent meeting was last September, where DePaul won 1-0. The first encounter took place in August 2021, ending in a 3-0 win for DePaul.

SCOUTING GONZAGA
Gonzaga (2-2-1) currently holds a .500-win percentage. The Bulldogs kicked off the season with a loss to Utah (2-1) and a draw against California (1-1). They then bounced back with wins over Kansas State (2-0) and Kansas (1-0), but also suffered a tough defeat to No. 6 Arkansas (4-0). Junior forward Erin Ewers leads the way with two goals this season.

Sunday's match will mark the first time UIC and Gonzaga share the field.
