Cedar Falls, Iowa – Looking to sneak into the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) postseason tournament, the UIC women's soccer team hits the road for its final regular-season contest to take on the UNI Panthers. The Flames (6-7-4, 2-3-3 MVC) will be on the hunt for a win as they face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. HISTORY VS UNI
This will mark the seventh all-time meeting between the Flames and Panthers, with UNI leading the series 2-1-3. The Flames picked up their first win of the series in their last meeting, which took place on September 19^th, 2024. This win saw the Flames defeat the Panthers 2-0 on Flames Field. Riley Collett scored both Flames' goals in the 21^st and 78^th minutes, recording a brace. 
 
LAST MATCH RECAP
The Flames are coming off a 3-0 victory over the Belmont Bruins on Sunday. Riley Collett opened the scoring early for the second game in a row, scoring in the 16^th minute. Hannah Gryzik doubled the lead in the 67^th when she converted a penalty kick. Then, in the 79^th, Collett recorded her second of the game, earning herself a brace and sealing the Flames' victory. Francesca Faraci and Sara Sanabria combined for the shutout victory.
