Women’s Soccer Travels to Indiana State for MVC Quarterfinal

Flames will take on the Sycamores at 12:00 p.m. CT

Terre Haute, Ind. – UIC women's soccer now turns its attention to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Women's Soccer Championship, where it enters as the No. 6 seed and will be taking on the No. 3 seed, Indiana State Sycamores. The quarterfinal match will take place in Memorial Stadium with a 12:00 p.m. CT kickoff on Sunday. Livestream will be available on ESPN+, while live stats will be available on UICFlames.com.

HISTORY VS INDIANA STATE
This will mark the seventh all-time meeting between the Flames and Sycamores, with the series all tied up at 2-2-2. The Flames and Sycamores met earlier this season in a regular-season contest down in Terre Haute on September 25th. UIC and Indiana State battled to a 1-1 draw. Riley Collet scored the match's opening goal in the 14th minute to give the Flames an early lead before Kaitlynn Long and the Sycamores tied the game in the 70th minute. 
 
LAST MATCH RECAP
The Flames earned their way into postseason action after recording a 1-0 win over the UNI Panthers on Thursday. Kaitlyn Nardulli scored her first goal of the season and the lone goal of the match in the 52nd minute off a Sophia Jaime assist to give the Flames the victory.
