Murray, Ky. – Advancing to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championship semifinals, the No. 6 seed UIC Flames will travel south to take on the No. 2 seed Murray State Racers. The semifinal match will kick off at 1:00 p.m. CT on Thursday at Cutchin Field. Livestream will be available on ESPN+, while live stats will be available on UICFlames.com.

HISTORY VS MURRAY STATE
This will mark the sixth all-time meeting between the Flames and Racers, with the series sitting at 1-1-3. The Flames and Racers met just two weeks ago on Flames Field in a regular-season contest. Murray State headed home with the victory, defeating UIC 2-1. Riley Collett gave the Flames an early lead, scoring in the 12^th minute, but the Racers would score in the 39^th and 59^th to take the victory. 
 
LAST MATCH RECAP
The Flames defeated Indiana State 2-1 on Sunday in the MVC Quarterfinals. After the Sycamores took a 1-0 lead in the 54^th minute, Katelyn Nardulli scored her second goal of the season, and second of the week, to tie the game at 1-1 10 minutes later. Then, two minutes after assisting Nardulli's goal, Hannah Gryzik gave the Flames the lead with a header goal off a Kaysey Castro corner kick. In the final seconds of the contest, Sara Sanabria came up with a huge save, using the crossbar to her advantage to keep the ball out of the goal and give the Flames a 2-1 lead.
