Murray, Ky. – Advancing to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championship semifinals, the No. 6 seed UIC Flames will travel south to take on the No. 2 seed Murray State Racers. The semifinal match will kick off at 1:00 p.m. CT on Thursday at Cutchin Field. Livestream will be available on

MVC Quarterfinals
HISTORY VS MURRAY STATE
This will mark the sixth all-time meeting between the Flames and Racers, with the series sitting at 1-1-3. The Flames and Racers met just two weeks ago on Flames Field in a regular-season contest. Murray State headed home with the victory, defeating UIC 2-1.
Riley Collett gave the Flames an early lead, scoring in the 12
th minute, but the Racers would score in the 39

th to take the victory.

Hannah Gryzik gave the Flames the lead with a header goal off a
Kaysey Castro corner kick. In the final seconds of the contest,
Sara Sanabria came up with a huge save, using the crossbar to her advantage to keep the ball out of the goal and give the Flames a 2-1 lead.
