CHICAGO (Feb. 9, 2025) – UIC women's tennis delivered a commanding 7-0 victory over Milwaukee on Friday, continuing their strong start to the season. The Flames showcased their depth and determination, securing wins in all singles and doubles matches.

This victory was particularly significant as Milwaukee recently defeated Valparaiso, a team ranked fourth in the Horizon League preseason poll. The Flames rose to the challenge, proving their strength against a competitive opponent. Freshman Dongke Liu remained undefeated in singles play, continuing her impressive debut season.

"I was proud to see our energy and attitude in our match today," said head coach Elizabeth Lumpkin Robinson. "Our opponents are tough competitors and versatile players. We handled the challenge well and look forward to another tough match this weekend."
