CHICAGO (Feb. 19, 2025) – The UIC women's tennis team delivered a commanding 6-1 win over Bowling Green, showcasing their depth and resilience in another impressive performance.
The Flames set the tone early, securing the doubles point with strong teamwork and aggressive play. In singles, UIC carried that momentum forward, winning five of six matches to seal the dominant victory. Despite facing tough competition, the Flames rose to the occasion, displaying confidence and composure throughout the match.
"We had tough competition and situations in this match, and our team's grit was impressive," head coach Elizabeth Robinson said. "They handled adversity with professionalism, and each player had their own breakthrough in some sense during the weekend. We grew a lot and look forward to building on this foundation of toughness."
With another strong performance under their belt, the Flames continue to build momentum as they push forward in the season.
