RESULTS
- Nolan placed 13th in the one-meter event (679.30), 15th in the three-meter event (616.50), an improvement from his placement at zones a year ago, and scored 214.45 in the platform event.
- Tremewan placed 16th in the one-meter event (609.75), improving his score from a year ago (606.50). Tremewan also scored 317.55 points in the three-meter and 246.35 points in the platform event.
- Christian Curtis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood Flossmoor) competed at the NCAA Zone Championships for the first time, scoring 270.70 on the one-meter and 279.15 on the three-meter.
- Kerry-Leigh Morrison (Gauteng, South Africa/St. Mary's) finished the one-meter with a score of 227.95 and the three-meter with a score of 194.20. This was Morrison's third time competing at the NCAA Zone Championships.
"I am really proud of this group and how they performed this week at the NCAA Zone C Championship. We are in one of the toughest zones in the country and to have Cole final in the 1 meter event and Harrison to final in both of the springboard events was awesome." Associate Head Coach/Head Diving Coach
Susan Bromberg said. "This was also the first time that a UIC had divers in the platform event, Kerry had her best finish in 3 years in the 1 meter event and Christian was able to gain a lot of experience so that next year he will make more of an impact at this meet and throughout the season. This is also our 7th year in a row where UIC has been in the top 10 teams at this meet. The other teams in front of us are all Power 4 teams from the Big Ten, SEC, and ACC."
