- The all-time series between the Flames and Salukis stands tied at 3-3, with the Flames winning all three games in 2024.
- UIC is coming off its fourth consecutive game against a B1G opponent, losing on Tuesday to Iowa 4-1. The Flames took an early lead and the bullpen surrendered just two runs in 6.2 innings of work, only walking one batter to keep the game close to the final out.
