Baseball Set for Mid-Week Contest at Milwaukee Tuesday

Flames Make Lone Trip to Brew City in 2025, Visit Former Horizon League Foe

CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team (9-24, 5-7 MVC) will compete in its penultimate scheduled non-conference road game on Tuesday, as the Flames will travel north for a mid-week battle with Milwaukee (11-22, 9-5 Horizon League).

  • Luke Nowak continues his blazing pace on offense, ranking fourth in The Valley in batting average (.374) and eighth in hits (49). He also ranks first on the UIC roster with 15 multi-hit games this season.
  • Dillon Schueler has averaged just over six innings pitched in his last two starts and has only given up a total of three runs in those two appearances.
  • The Flames are currently tied for seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with Evansville (5-7) with five MVC series remaining.
