Chicago, Ill. – The UIC softball team remains on the road this weekend as they head to Des Moines, Iowa, to take on the Drake University Bulldogs in a three-game series between April 18-19. Due to the incoming weather on Sunday, the series has been adjusted to a single game on Friday, April 18
th, starting at 5:00 PM, and a doubleheader on Saturday, April 19
th, beginning at 1:30 PM. Each game this weekend will be live-streamed on
ESPN+, while live stats for all games will be available on
UICFlames.com.

HISTORY VS DRAKE
The Flames and Bulldogs' history dates to before 1993, with the Flames leading the series 9-6. The two sides last met in a three-game series in April of 2024, with the Flames taking one of three games. The Bulldogs took games one and three 8-1 and 5-2, respectively, while the Flames took game two 8-7.
TUESDAY VS DEPAUL
- On Tuesday, the Flames remained in Chicago as they traveled to take on the DePaul University Blue Demons in a cross-town rivalry. The Blue Demons defeated the Flames 11-3 in six innings.
- Emma Gumont went 1-for-2 with a home run, one run, and one RBI.
- Grace Fleming went 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs.
