CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team (11-27, 7-8 MVC) returns to Missouri Valley Conference play this weekend, as the Flames play host to Bradley (8-27, 4-11 MVC) for a three-game home series beginning Friday night.

• UIC will look to even the all-time series with the Braves on Friday, as Bradley currently holds the 19-18 edge. The Flames have the edge as of late, as UIC has won five of the last six match-ups in the past two seasons.
• The Flames are 5-4 in their last three conference series after starting Valley play with a 2-4 record in March.
• To go along with his .383 overall batting average, Luke Nowak is currently hitting .413 in Missouri Valley Conference games this season. Both marks currently rank second in the conference.
• All three of Dillon Schueler's victories on the season have come in MVC play, which is tied for the most wins in The Valley.

PROMOTIONS
This weekend is jam-packed with promotions at Curtis Granderson Stadium. Friday night's game will be the Salute to Service game, with free admission for active military, veterans, and first responders with valid identification. Saturday is Bark in the Park, with free pup cups and giveaways, as well as Alumni Day. The weekend will conclude with Sparky's Kids Club Day on Sunday, with kid's club members receiving a free ICEE® pop at the game.
