Chicago, Ill. – With the conclusion of the regular season around the corner, the UIC softball team prepares for their road series this weekend against the Indiana State University Sycamores. The Flames and Sycamores will compete in an adjusted Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) three-game series between April 26th and April 27th in Terre Haute, Ind., on Price Field with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 26th, and a single game on Sunday, April 27th. Game one on Saturday, April 26th, will begin at 12:00 PM CT, with game two to follow. Every game will be live-streamed on ESPN+, and live stats will be available on UICFlames.com.

HISTORY VS INDIANA STATE
The Flames and Sycamores' history dates to before 1993, with Indiana State leading the series 8-6. The two sides last met in a three-game series in Chicago, Ill. last season, with the Flames taking 2-of-3 games. Indiana State took game one 7-3 before UIC secured games two and three 4-1 and 6-3 respectively.
TUESDAYS RECAP
- The Flames played their final non-conference game of the 2025 season on Tuesday as they hosted the Northwestern University Wildcats. After a scoreless first two innings, momentum swung in favor of the visitors as the Wildcats went home with an 11-0 victory over the Flames in five innings.
