DES MOINES, Iowa. – Softball senior infielder Emma Gumont was named to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) softball All-Tournament Team on Saturday following the conclusion of the MVC Softball Championships.

In the Flames' lone game of the tournament, Gumont went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run. A right field double by Gumont scored two runners, giving the Flames the early lead before eventually falling to the Missouri State Bears. 

"Gumont had a great practice on Tuesday and was locked in for the tournament," said Interim Head Coach Jamie Buksa. "It's amazing to see her finish her career on a high note. I am proud of her!"
