CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team (17-31, 13-11 MVC) will close the 2025 regular season this weekend, as the Flames host Belmont (24-28, 13-11 MVC) for a three-game series.

• The Flames currently sit in a three-way-tie for fourth place in the MVC standings with Illinois State and Belmont. UIC is coming off a series with Illinois State and will host Belmont to close out the 2025 regular season.
• UIC holds a 7-5 conference record in games played at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium this season, winning three of the four series played at home this season.
• The Flames hold an 8-5 record all-time against Belmont, with the Flames winning seven of the last eight meetings and boasting an undefeated home record.
• Dillon Schueler's five victories in conference play this season are tied for the most in The Valley. His 3.02 conference ERA is good for third among pitchers in the conference.
• The Flames have a 4.91 staff ERA in Missouri Valley Conference games this season, a mark that ranks second in the conference behind only Murray State (4.63).
