ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference released the 2025 Baseball post-season awards Tuesday, and several Flames found themselves with post-season honors.
Luke Nowak was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Defensive Team,
Dillon Schueler was named to the All-Conference Second Team and
Tommy Egan was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Nowak was also named the conference's Co-Newcomer of the Year, the third season in a row that a Flame has earned this distinction.

Luke Nowak made his presence felt in his first year as a Flame, becoming an instant impact player in the outfield. He led the MVC in batting average (.379) and was second in the conference in stolen bases (25). Nowak led the Flames offense in runs scored (46), hits (77), extra-base hits (18), RBI (33) and slugging percentage (.547).

Dillon Schueler made 14 starts for UIC in 2025, finding his groove in conference play for the Flames.
Schueler co
-led the pitching staff in conference wins with five, the second most in The Valley. He struck out 61 batters in 77.2 innings pitched, both ranking first for Flames pitchers. His 4.07 ERA in conference games ranks sixth in the MVC among those qualifying.

Tommy Egan made eight starts for UIC in the 2025 season, and earned five wins on the year. His 3.63 ERA in conference games was good for fourth best among qualifying pitchers in The Valley. Egan was second on the team in innings pitched (49) and strikeouts (41), while holding opposing teams to a .232 batting average.
