CHICAGO – Kicking off a new season, the UIC women's soccer team welcomes Illinois to Flames Field on Thursday. The first match of the 2025 season will kick off at 5:00 p.m. The game will be live-streamed on ESPN+, while live stats will be available on UICFlames.com.

Thursday's game will mark the first meeting between the Flames and the Fighting Illini.
MVC PRESEASON POLL
On Monday, the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) preseason poll was released. For the 2025 season, the Flames were ranked second while receiving one first-place vote, as announced by the league office.
Senior Riley Collett and graduate student Francesca Faraci were named to the All-MVC First Team, while seniors Sophia Jaime and Hannah Gryzik were named honorable mentions.
