CHICAGO – Two matches into the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) season, the UIC women's soccer team is set to host their conference home opener tomorrow against the Valparaiso Beacons. The 4:00 p.m. Flames Field contest between the Flames (4-5-2, 0-1-1) and the Beacons (3-5-2, 0-1-1) will be the Flames' Hispanic Heritage Month game. The live stream will be available on ESPN+ , while live stats will be available on UICFlames.com.

HISTORY VS VALPARAISO
This will mark the ninth all-time meeting between the Flames and Beacons, with Valparaiso leading the series 4-3-1. The Flames have previously won the last two matches 1-0, with the latest coming on October 10^th, 2024, in Valparaiso. 
 
LAST MATCH RECAP
The Flames come into Sunday's match following a 1-1 draw on the road against Indiana State. With her first goal of the season, Riley Collett put the Flames on top in the 14^th minute of action. The Flames held the lead until the 70^th minute when the Sycamores tied the contest, resulting in the 1-1 draw.
