MOREHEAD Ky. – The UIC volleyball team (1-4) had an eventful Friday out on the court, sweeping Radford (1-4) before falling in five sets to Morehead State (2-3) at the Eagles' Comfort Inn-Vitational.
Freshman
Ana Petrides paced UIC in the sweep of Radford with 13 kills and a .611 hitting percentage. Senior
Ayat Amin added eight kills, and classmate
Francesca Venturini served six aces.

In the five-set battle with Morehead State, senior
Cleo Lorenzo recorded 15 kills and 12 digs. Senior
Julieta Sandez added 10 kills with a .500 hitting percentage, while redshirt sophomore
Mihaela Harizanova dished out 39 assists.
