EVANSTON - Women's Tennis opened their 2026 spring season on Sunday at Northwestern, falling short to a strong Wildcats team. Sophomore Dongke Liu battled in No. 4 singles, winning the first set 7-5 before eventually falling in a tie breaking third set.

The Flames will be back in action Thursday at 12:00 PM for their home opener against Omaha who enters the match at 2-3. It will be just the second ever match up between these two programs with UIC winning the only previous match back in 2020.
