TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The UIC softball team (11-12-1, 1-2 MVC) is set to continue Missouri Valley Conference play, as they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for a three game series against Indiana State (13-9, 2-1 MVC) from March 13-14. First pitch will take place at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday.

BELMONT SERIES RECAP
 
The Flames played a three game series against conference opponent Belmont last weekend, going 1-2. UIC dropped the opening game 9-1, won the second game 3-2 and lost the rubber match 8-0. Ari O'Connell hit a two-run home run for the Flames in the win.
