On Tuesday, the Flames took on non-conference opponent DePaul, winning 2-1. Sam Tourtillot scored both of the Flames' runs, opening the game with a leadoff home run and scoring on a sacrifice fly from Larissa Ortiz in the sixth inning. Trinity Brandhorst earned the win, pitching seven innings and allowing one earned run.
