SCOUTING NORTHWESTERN

• This series will be the 77th meeting between the Flames and Wildcats. Northwestern leads the all-time series, 45-30-1.
• Northwestern is coming off a three game weekend on the road, going 1-2. In their most recent contest they lost to UNLV 10-5.
• Junior Jackson Freeman leads the Wildcats in batting average (.436), runs (13) and home runs (three).
• Sophomore Matt Kouser leads the Wildcats pitching staff with a 3.24 earned run average in 16.2 innings pitched.

MIZZOU RECAP

• The Flames dropped a four game series against Missouri this past weekend.
• Junior Lucas Smith led the Flames in hits over the weekend, amassing five across 12 at-bats. Smith also drove in three runs, and had a home run robbing catch that placed him sixth in the ESPN SportsCenter Top-10.
• Junior Jake Busson hit two home runs in the series for the Flames, while leading the team in RBI with six.
• Graduate student Jake Jakubowski led the Flames pitching in appearances with three, pitching 2.1 innings, allowing only one run.
