SILVIS, Ill. – The UIC women's golf team shifts its focus to the postseason this weekend as it travels to the prestigious TPC Deere Run for the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will run Sunday through Tuesday, April 19-21.
THE SITE
TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., is a premier 18-hole, par-71 championship course. Famous for hosting the PGA TOUR's John Deere Classic since 2000, the D.A. Weibring-designed course offers a challenging parkland-style layout. The Flames will navigate scenic ravines, pristine bentgrass greens, and expansive views of the Rock River on a course that can stretch up to 7,258 yards.

LAST TIME OUT
UIC enters the championship following a strong podium finish at the Indiana State Invitational (April 12-13). The Flames secured third place in the six-team field, posting a 36-hole total of 624 (+48). Notably, UIC found its rhythm in the final round, matching host Indiana State for the field's best second-round score (311).
FLAMES TO WATCH

Monserrat Ramirez: The graduate student is coming off a stellar performance in Terre Haute, where she carded a team-best 76 (+4) in the final round. Her finish was highlighted by a scorching back-nine 35 (-1), the only under-par nine-hole stretch recorded by any UIC player during the event.

Camille Rosier: The sophomore continues to be the model of consistency for the Flames. After carding rounds of 76 and 77 last week, Rosier has now collected eight top-20 individual finishes during her standout spring campaign.
- Alejandra Ereño: Ereño looks to recapture the magic from her opening round at Indiana State, where she matched her season-best with a 75 (+3).
