WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Playing its first of five games this week, the UIC softball team (19-25-1, 8-14 MVC) will travel to B1G conference opponent Purdue (30-15, 9-9 B1G) for a midweek out of conference game at Bittinger Stadium. This is the third meeting between Purdue and UIC this season, with the teams splitting the first two games. First pitch will take place at 3:00 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, with the game available to be streamed on
B1G+.

FLAMES FACTS
- This is the 18th all-time meeting between the Flames and Boilermakers, with UIC leading the all-time series 9-8.

DEPAUL RECAP
The Flames played out of conference opponent DePaul on Wednesday, losing 6-3.
Emily Brecht went two-for-four at the plate driving in a run.
Sam Tourtillott and
Larissa Ortiz also collected an RBI in the loss. The Flames and Blue Demons were tied at three going into the final frame before DePaul was able to pull away.
Jasmine Whorley was credited with the loss (14-12), pitching seven innings, allowing six runs and striking out four.
