CHICAGO - After clinching the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) regular season title on Saturday, the UIC women's tennis (14-6, 7-0 MVC) team defeated Drake 5-2 on Sunday. With this win, the Flames finished MVC play 7-0 and wrapped up the regular season with an eighth straight win. After dropping the doubles point the Flames responded with 5 victories in singles to take the match. Dongke Liu bumped up to No. 1 singles and won in straight sets to set the tone for UIC.

The Flames will resume play on Saturday in the MVC tournament, the Flames will serve as the host for this year's tournament as well as the number one seed.
