CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team (10-6, 3-0 MVC) continued their undefeated start to conference play when they defeated Valparaiso (10-6, 0-3 MVC) by a score of 5-2 on Friday April 3rd. The Flames got off to a strong start as they won the doubles point behind victories from Edit Cosmo and Anais Brion at No. 1 and from Nia Cooper and Joannte Hartono at No. 2. 

UIC continued their success into singles, winning 4 of the 6 matches to clinch the match and a 3-0 start to Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) play. Brion and Cooper were also victorious in singles as both of them won in straight sets. The Flames are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Nashville to take on Belmont.
