UIC athletics is committed to providing community engagement outreach with purpose through Mission-Driven Service. A program of community engagement and service learning, UIC student-athletes and staff live out our value of being a part of something bigger than ourselves. Together, we change the world and impact lives.
It is also important for our athletics department as a whole to participate in community service and engagement. Mission-Driven Service regularly provides coaches, staff, and administration volunteer opportunities, including those in conjunction with our student-athletes.
The greatest impact on our communities and the most meaningful experiences for our students, Mission-Driven Service focuses our service on four core missions: Uniting Flames, UIC Hometown Heroes, Igniting the Youth, and Partnering with the Horizon League.
