Evanston, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team dropped its third-straight match on Saturday as they were aced, 7-0, by Alabama at the Northwestern Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Flames were unable to steal a match from the Crimson tied, but freshman Ayca Gumuscu battled into the third set in the No. 3 singles contest while UIC put up strong fights in both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles contests.
Mary Dailey's crew, now 2-4 on the year, will look to snap its recent skid on Saturday, Feb. 17, as they host Bowling Green at the Oak Park Tennis and Racquet Club at 1:00 p.m.
