Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago sophomore Katarina Nedeljkovic and junior Ambria Springer were named to the All-Horizon League Team announced by the League office Wednesday, November 16th.

At the end of regular-season action, Nedeljkovic ranks second in the league in service aces and kills. Nedeljkovic was named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week October 10th. She has pounded 512 kills this season, averaging 4.34 per game and has racked up 46 service aces.

The sophomore leads the UIC team with 512 kills and 1,395 total attacks. She also leads the Flames in service aces (42) and ranks second with 286 digs. Nedeljkovic marked a season and career-high 31 kills versus Youngstown State October 14th and four total blocks on several occasions.

Springer ranks in the top-ten in the league with 382 kills this season, averaging 3.35 per game. In league matches, Springer holds ninth-place with 61 blocks and was named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week September 12th.

The junior leads the UIC Flames with 86 blocks and has tallied 382 kills, 843 total attacks and 61 digs this season. Springer posted a season and career-high with a .639 hitting percentage versus Youngstown State October 14th and had eight blocks against Northern Illinois August 26th.

The Flames (12-18) ended regular-season play in third-place and are set to play at the 2005 Horizon League Championship hosted by UIC this Friday, November 18th against the winner of No. 6 Butler versus No. 7 Wright State.
