Flames Volleyball Prepares For Two Home Matches

Chicago, Ill. - UIC Flames volleyball is set to play two home matches this weekend at the Flames Athletic Center.UIC (10-16, 6-4) battles Wright State (8-15, 4-7) tonight at 7 pm and then hosts the Bulldogs of Butler (10-13, 5-6) Saturday, November 5th at 4 pm.

The Raiders enter tonight's match with a seventh-place ranking in the Horizon League poll and Butler is placed sixth.

With UIC's final road matches under its belt, the Flames (10-16, 6-4) head into their last two weeks of regular-season contests with a third-place ranking. Although UIC fell to cross-town rival last Saturday in a close five-game match, the Flames enter the week holding onto third.

UIC will finish out its regular season matches next Friday, November 4th versus Cleveland State at 7 pm and Saturday, November 5th at 4 pm against Youngstown State.

The Flames Athletic Center and UIC will host the 2005 Horizon League Volleyball Championship from November 17-20.
