Chicago, Ill. - UIC volleyball concludes its regular season slate on Thursday, Nov. 9 when they travel to Rogers Park for a matchup against conference foe Loyola at 7:00 p.m.
The Flames enter the contest ranked third overall (8-5), while the Ramblers slipped one spot to sixth place with a 6-7 record.
This marks the third time these two universities have met this season. The Flames handed Loyola a non-conference five-game loss in the Chicagoland Challenge on Aug. 26, followed by a 3-0 UIC sweep at the Flames Athletic Center on Oct. 13.
In league matches, UIC senior Katie Kozak leads UIC with a .264 attack percentage. Senior Ambria Springer averages a team-high 3.81 kills and 1.22 blocks per game. Senior Julie Popp guides the Flames on defense with 415 digs and junior Katarina Nedeljkovic owns a team-high 43 service aces.
Loyola junior Keily Zins leads the Ramblers with 142 kills and a .205 attack percentage. Averaging 5.24 digs per game, senior Ann Deelo guides Loyola on defense and junior Melissa Craig owns a team-high 1.07 blocks per game.
After the Loyola match, UIC tackles the Horizon League Tournament on Nov. 17-19. The three-day event will take place in Dayton, Ohio at Wright State University.
