UIC vs. SIUE Match Notes

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC volleyball team heads into its final week of regular season action on Tuesday night (Nov. 11) in a matchup against SIU Edwardsville at the Flames Athletic Center at 7 p.m.

The Flames (12-15) lead the series against SIUE, 3-0.

UIC is looking to recover from a 3-0 loss to Valparaiso on Nov. 8. Despite the setback, Katerina Hanackova and Casie Sullivan each recorded their second straight double-double.

Sullivan ranks ninth in the league with 2.8 kills per set, while Hanackova is ninth in digs (3.1 dps) and second in service aces (0.4 saps).

The Cougars (11-12) were defeated by Eastern Kentucky in five sets at home on Nov. 4. SIUE's offense is led by Sydney Winslow with 3.0 kills per set.

The Flames conclude regular season action this weekend with contests against Milwaukee (Nov. 14) and Green Bay (Nov. 15) at the home.
