2009 UIC Invitational Results in PDF Format

GRIFFITH, Ind.- Mariya Kovaleva won the 2009 UIC Invitational singles and doubles titles at the two-day indoor tennis event at Match Point Tennis and Club over the weekend.

Kovaleva won both of her singles matches during the hidden dual event in identical 6-1, 6-2 straight-set fashion. She teamed with Kristen McPhillips to go a perfect 2-0 in doubles play in contests against duos from Northern Iowa and Northern Illinois.

The Flames resume fall tournament play next weekend at the Toledo Invitational.
