Champaign, Ill.- The UIC women's tennis team was unable to take down sister school Illinois on Sunday, falling to the 36th-ranked Illini, 7-0.

Ilinca Cristescu and Ulrikke von Ubisch claimed the lone victory for the Flames in doubles at the second position, defeating Annie McCarthy and Amy Allin, 8-6.

In singles action, the Flames were outmatched as Illinois swept all matches in straight sets.

UIC returns to action this Saturday at Evergreen Racquet and Fitness to face MAC rival Toledo at 5 p.m.
