CHICAGO - The majority of the UIC volleyball team's home schedule during the 2009 season will be available to fans for viewing via live Internet broadcasts.
Ten of the home matches, held at the Flames Athletic Center, will be available live beginning this weekend with the Flames' home opener against Georgia State on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
"I am thrilled to have our matches webcast," volleyball head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley said. "It says a lot about the commitment Athletic Director Jim Schmidt has made to the UIC volleyball program."
