CHICAGO- The UIC volleyball team will finish its six-game homestand Sunday with a 2 p.m. contest against Green Bay.
The Flames come into the Green Bay match after sweeping Milwaukee 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-22) Saturday at the Flames Athletic Center.
Fans unable to make the trip to the Flames Athletic Center can watch the match live online with Assistant Athletic Director Shawn Sullivan calling the action for today's contest.
A pair of freshmen, Kelsey Safranek and Nicole Allgood led UIC to the 3-0 victory Saturday, posting 10 kills apiece in the match. Junior Casie Sullivan currently leads the Flames' offense with 152 kills so far in 2009.
After the Green Bay contest, the Flames will take to the road for five contests. UIC's road swing begins with a Sept. 26 match at Youngstown State.
